Mind/Body Balance

 

Mind/Body Balance is a gentle massage combined with energy work in one session, designed to allow your body time and space to process emotions in a warm, safe, comfy environment. Emotions such as anxiety, loss and grieving include not only death, but divorce, accidents, job losses, friends losses, or the loss of a pet. Mind/Body Balance is not an attempt to “fix” your grief or help you move through it more quickly. Instead, Mind/Body Balance provides a  space for you to process emotions through gentle touch and energy, so your body may begin to heal itself. 

I have been trained in grief processing through continuing education credits and also by the nurses, counselors, social workers, pastors, massage therapists, energy facilitators, and friends who held safe space for me in my own losses, and through study of trauma-informed care. I have a deep compassion for caregivers and for those with chronic illness and challenges. This type of massage utilizes all these personal and professional skills in one session to provide the best experience for your body to heal itself.
